What is Direct to Garment Printing?

Direct to garment (DTG) printers are printers that allow us to print in full color – including white ink -straight onto the garment. The inks are water based and are much softer than the plastisol inks used in screen printing.  The printers are like an ink jet printer that you would have on your desk for your PC. The only difference is that these printers are very large and use special ink. Instead of paper, we load t-shirts, sweatshirts and more. We can print up to a 13 X 19 inch area in 720-2800 DPI, using full CMYK colors plus white ink.
